Advance Placement/Student Transfer (For Nursing Program Only) Policy: A student who has completed selected nursing courses in other programs may apply to transfer up to two courses to the FCTI, PN Program. The Director of the PN Program and the Director of Admissions will review and evaluate requests for advance placement. Students must achieve a grade of a 78% (C+) in all nursing courses and a 73% (C) in non-nursing course in order to transfer course into FCTI. Procedure: Transfer credit for nursing courses completed at another program will be granted based on the following criteria: The applicant must meet admissions and transfer requirements Courses to be transferred must have been completed in a board of nursing approved program Courses to be transferred must have been completed in an accredited college or community college  The applicant must submit the course outline and course syllabus to the Director of Admissions The applicant must provide evidence of successful completion of the course The applicant may be asked to provide a letter of recommendation from the previous instructor Once all required documentation is submitted, the Director and the Admission Coordinator will meet, review the documentation and a decision will be made. The student will be notified in writing of the decision.
